Baleno car collided with street light pole on Ambikapur-Bilaspur National Highway, three youths injured, referred to district hospital

Ambikapur: A horrific road accident took place on Thursday night on Ambikapur-Bilaspur National Highway-130 under Lakhanpur police station area of Surguja district. The speeding Baleno car went out of control and collided with a street light pole installed on the divider. The accident took place near Kevra village at around 8:30 pm.
The collision was so severe that the street light pole got uprooted and fell directly on the car, due to which the vehicle was completely damaged. Three youths in the car were seriously injured.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Dial-112 team reached the spot. Constable Ramkumar Yadav and driver Harsh Manikpuri showed promptness and immediately took the injured to Lakhanpur Community Health Center. Where after first aid, all three were referred to the District Hospital Ambikapur in critical condition.
According to the information, all three injured youths are residents of Lakhanpur area. At present, the police is investigating the cause of the accident. It is being said that at the time of the accident, the car was moving at a very high speed, due to which the driver could not control it and this accident happened.
